(Repost from Special Edition District Newsletter)
In this letter, I formally say farewell to the Southeast Delco School District community, after being a part of it for the duration of my educational career, thirteen years from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade at Sharon Hill School, and from Ninth to Twelfth Grade at Academy Park.
During these last thirteen years, there has most certainly been rough patches, and I credit the sedelco community as a whole for its resiliency in the face of adversity wherever it may have presented itself, constantly reminding me of just how special this community is.
My experience as a student in this school district has been a unique one, one that has introduced me to people from all walks of life, one that has exposed me to the various levels of the human experience, one that has challenged me both intellectually and physically, and one that has opened the door to many new and exciting experiences and opportunities, both domestically and internationally.
I will be continuing my studies at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, PA, majoring in Economics and perhaps double majoring in Computer Science as well (or minoring in it, TBD) in the hopes of going on to Law/Business School to earn my JD/MBA. Those of you that have known me over the years know that I always wanted to work in the corporate world in some capacity, and I intend on continuing to actively pursue that goal.
Academy Park and the Southeast Delco School District community will always have a special place in my heart, as I look forward to being an engaged alum for the foreseeable future.
And so, I say farewell to the community that has given me so much. Thank you all for your timeless support and guidance.
